Give your broken household items a second chance at the Ruspidge Mend & Repair Café, where skilled volunteers offer free repairs and practical advice in a friendly community setting.

Rather than throwing items away, bring them along and see if they can be repaired, helping to reduce waste while learning new skills and meeting members of the local community.

What to bring

Bring along small household items that need repairing, such as electrical appliances, clothing, toys or other everyday items. Volunteers will do their best to help, offer repair advice and, where possible, fix your item during the session.

Please note that repairs may be declined if they are unlikely to be completed before the session ends at 4pm. Any replacement parts required will need to be paid for separately.
