Mitcheldean Festival returns with a fantastic programme of live music, community celebrations and family entertainment this summer.

Taking place across June and July, the festival showcases local musicians, choirs and performers alongside the popular Carnival Procession and Village Fete. With free entry to all concerts, it's a brilliant opportunity to enjoy live music and celebrate community spirit in the heart of Mitcheldean.

Carnival Procession & Village Fete

• Date: Saturday 18th July 2026
• Carnival: Assemble at Mitcheldean Primary School, Hawker Hill by 12:45pm for a 1pm procession
• Fete: Begins on the playing field following the procession

Everyone is welcome to join the carnival procession, with fancy dress encouraged. Pre-registration is advised for participants.

The village fete will include:

• Twirlstars performances
• Dog show
• DJ Flo
• Morris dancers
• Family entertainment

Festival Concert at the Parish Church

• Date: Saturday 18th July 2026
• Venue: Mitcheldean Parish Church
• Price: Free entry
